The title pretty much sums up my question. How does one go about doing this task? Step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about using yahoo with outlook, or through the yahoo webmail system? I want to make sure before I write it all out.

First, open a message with an attachment, then simply arrow down to the scan and save to computer link. The page will refresh after the attachment has been scanned with the antivirus software yahoo uses. After this is done, simply press the b key to jump to the download attachment button. Then, just proceed like you would when downloading any other file from the internet. I hope this helps.
